I appreciated the spacious room and comfortable bed, making it easy for me to move around. The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring I had everything I needed for a restful stay. It was quite peaceful at night.
Hot water could have been more consistent.

cozy, cozy, cozy
I loved the spacious Beautiful Queen Room. It had just enough room for me to feel relaxed. The outdoor swimming pool was a good escape, perfect for soaking up the sun and unwinding. The staff were attentive as comfortable as possible!

room with potential, but needs improvements
The room had decent space and a solid air conditioning unit that worked well. Enjoyed a nice flat-screen TV and a fresh batch of toiletries. The outdoor swimming pool, while not well-maintained, could be inviting with comfy sun loungers. Too bad the overall cleanliness didn’t meet expectations.

The hotel had a decent location, but we were disappointed by the
lack of cleanliness and the unresponsive staff. Our room had broken furniture, and we encountered multiple issues with housekeeping. However, I appreciated the surrounding amenities, which helped balance our stay a bit.

Not what I expected
I stayed here for a night, and it was pretty disappointing. The room was dirty, and the bed felt lumpy. Plus, there were no towels! They advertised free breakfast, but that was a lie. The staff was unhelpful when I needed another room for a family member and wanted to raise the price instead. Also, no cable. Ugh.

missingWrote a review on Jul 22huge room
The room was huge and surprisingly clean, perfect for a quick getaway. I loved the fridge and microwave combo, made snacking a breeze! The nearby shopping options were a good surprise too!
But good heavens, the pool looked like it was auditioning for a swamp monster movie! And why does the cleaning lady think 'surprise inspections' while I'm snoozing is a thing?

Not for the faint of heart
The only good thing was that the AC was cold. And the TV was working sorta, but really, it felt like a bad joke. I mean, come on, how does someone leave a dirty sock in the dresser? That’s just lazy.

The room was clean but had inconsistent hot water during my stay.

easy access to parks and eateries around town
I enjoyed my stay, especially with how close the hotel was to San Juan Municipal Park, which is only about 4.5 km away, making it a great spot for a leisurely stroll, and there were plenty of dining options like Starbucks just a few steps away, perfect for grabbing a quick coffee before heading out to explore.

I had a good experience with the king room and loved lounging by the outdoor pool, although the lock code was a bit of a hassle and I had to jump in from outside. The hotel offers a nice outdoor space and relaxing sun loungers, which made it perfect for chilling out. Just a heads up, make sure to check in on the pool access before arriving! 🌞

It was just a good match for a quick trip in McAllen with good value. I had a comfortable bed that helped me rest well. If you have any pool plans, ask the front desk about the lock combination before heading out.
